Ring Warming 1
Having this love in their hearts for each other bride and groom have chosen to exchange rings as a symbol of their vows.
The wedding rings are the most visible sign of the bond these two people are about to make.
A commitment to life, to each other and to the future.
What I now ask bride and groom’s families to do is to warm these rings by passing them down the row.
As you hold them in your hands, pause for a moment, and make your wishes for the couple and for their future before you pass them on to the next person.
These rings will not only be a gift from one to another but will be given with the love, support and wisdom of their family and friends.
Ring Warming 2
Before bride and groom say their vows and exchange rings, they have asked that the people before them participate in the “warming of the rings.”
If you are unfamiliar with this ceremony, take the opportunity to wish them health, happiness, and all that is noble and good in life when the rings pass to your care.
Hold them for but a moment and warm them with your love, making a silent wish for the future this couple will share.
When returned, these rings will contain in their precious metals that which is all the more precious–your love and pledge of support for their union.
Ring Warming 3
During this ceremony bride and groom will exchange rings.
These rings are visible signs of their commitment to one another.
As this ceremony proceeds, we invite family and friends to take part in the warming of the rings.
We ask that you wish them health and happiness and all that is noble in life.
We ask that each guest hold them for a moment, warm them with your love and make a silent wish for this couple and their future together.
When these rings come back they will contain, in their precious metal, that which is more precious, that which is priceless—your love and hope and pledge of support for their union.
Ring Warming 4
Now as bride and groom come from their community of family and friends, and ask our support as they begin their journey together…. They also ask for your blessing upon their marriage.
Later in the ceremony bride and groom will exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment to one another.
As the ceremony proceeds they would like to invite family and friends to take part in The Warming of the Rings.
As the rings make their way through the group please take a quick moment to hold them, warm them with your love, and silently make a wish or ask a blessing for this couple and their future together.
When these rings return they will contain your love and support for their union to keep it strong throughout the years.
Before you say your vows and exchange your rings, the wedding officiant will ask everyone, including your wedding party to participate in a ring warming. The ring warming is an opportunity to send the bride and groom good luck and love through a silent wish to the rings when passed to them.
